Martenitsa (мартеница) is a traditional Bulgarian symbol of spring, health, and good fortune.
The tradition is most strongly associated with Bulgaria, but it’s also very big in Greece, Romania and Moldova.
These bracelets are 100% handmade. Also, the red and white yarn are hand twisted by me and the beads are made of wood.
